For this position you MUST have a level TWO (worker) or THREE (supervisor) in Early Childhood Education.

Wee R Kids Family Day Home Agency is looking for a day home Visitor to join our team. The Visitor is responsible for monitoring day homes on a monthly basis. Training and supporting day home providers, recruiting new providers and offering support to the agency Coordinator.

This position requires a person who can work with a high degree of independence but can also receive direction and work in a team environment. Has the ability to multitask in day home visits interacting with day home providers and children while completing paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certification as a Child Development Worker (level 2) or Supervisor (level 3) in the Province of Alberta

Experience in a childhood education setting

Passion for the childhood education field

A thorough understanding of child care licensing regulations standards

An ability to multi task and problem solve with a positive attitude

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft office

Must have your own vehicle and current driver's license

Current Childcare First Aid certificate with CPR (prior to start)

Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector check (within first two months)

Clear Child Intervention Check (within first two months)

Three professional references
