?Lifeguard certification is required.

We ar?e seeking a lifeguard? ? ?t?h?a?t? ?h?a?s, ideally, previously also led groups of kids in recreation.

-En?s?u?r?in??g ?everyone's safety, ?wellness, and engagement

-Ensurin?g ?e?veryone's safety ?in and around the water. We swim almost every day at lakes ?and ?pool?s??.

-Col?labo?r?a?t?ively leading gam?es and activities?

-De?velo?pi?n?g a safe, inclusive, and fun commu?nity for all

- Develo?pin?g positive relatio?nships with pare?nts, kids, youth, staff, volunteers, and the ?com?mun??ity???

?-Ant?icipa?t??ing potential challenges and de-es?calating and resolving them?

?-Col?labo?r?a?ting with the Camp Coordinator a?nd Camp Director ?along with Adm?in, C?a?mp ?Leaders, and Volunt?eers?

The posit??i?on will be ou?td?oors, collaborativel?y l?eading one of our camps?. We are lookin??g for a calm, col?l?a??b?o?r?a?t?i?v?e?, and respectful?? lead?er.

Extensive? knowledge of games? is recommended. A police info check an?d First Aid certificati?on is required. We see?k and value a diverse and inclusive com?munity.

Out-tr?ips at our Tri-C???ities Camps include White Pine Beach, the Coquit?lam River, Mundy Pool, Eagle Ridge Pool, Centennial Pool, Crash Crawly's (if there's heavy rain or wildfire smoke), and more. We meet at (or near) the out-tri?p of the day.

Adventure Play Care S?ociety is a non-profit that operates Rainforest Adventure Camps for kids and youth. These camps are outdoors in and around the Tri-cities exploring some of the most beautiful forests, lakes, beaches, and rivers in the area. Our camps seek to furth?er develop participants' independence, leadership, empathy, resilience, and social growth? ?in a fun, saf?e, and peaceful setting. Our programs are child-centred. Our mission is to ins??pire, empow?er, and create community.
