?-Ant?icipa?t??ing potential challe?nges and de-escalating and resolving them

?-Col?labo?r?a?t?ing with the Camp Coordinator, Camp Director, Camp Guides, and other members of our team

This position is full time t?o August 29.

The posit??i?on will b?e ou??tdoors, ??co-l?eading one of our camps?. It is suited for someone with extensive? experience a?nd train?ing. We are lookin??g for a calm, col?l?a??b?o?r?a?t?i?v?e?, and respectful?? leader.

Extensive? knowledge of games? is recommended. A police info check and First Aid certificati?on is required. We see?k and value a diverse and inclusive community.

Out-tr?ips at our Tri-C???ities Camps include White Pine Beach, the Coquitlam River, Spani Pool, Eagle Ridge Pool, Centennial Pool, Crash Crawly's (if there's heavy rain or wildfire smoke), and more. We meet at (or near) the out-tri?p of the day.

Adventure Play Care S?ociety is a non-profi?t? that operates Rainforest Adventure Camps for kids and youth. These camps are outdo?ors in and around the Tri-cities exploring some of the most beautiful forests, lakes, b?eaches, and rivers in the area. Our camps seek to furth?er develop participants' independe?nce, leadership, empathy, resilience, and social growth? ?in a fun, saf?e, and peaceful setting. Our programs are child-centred. Our mission is to ins??pire, empow?er, and create commun?ity.
