Job Description
Location Address: Hybrid (Currently remote with the possibility of transitioning into a hybrid work model in the future. Candidates are expected to come to the office when necessary) at Toronto, ON
Contract Duration: ASAP October 31, 2024
Scheduled Hours: 8:30am-5pm (Occasional over time and weekend hours may be required)Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1) 8-10+ years of working experience as a Database Administrator
2) 5+ years of hands on experience with Oracle Installation - Database upgrades/migrations
3) 5+ years of hands on experience with Database creation and upgrade of Oracle database versions 12c & 19c
4) 5+ years of hands on experience with Data Guard \xe2\x80\x93 Database replication tools, setup, configure and support
5) 5+ years of hands on experience with Database performance and tuningNice-To-Have Skills:
- Previous Banking/FI experience is an asset
- Familiar with Security and Auditing
- Oracle Certifications
- Oracle Golden Gate and Oracle
- Exadata Database setup in a Cloud environment
- RAC (Real Application Cluster) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
- OEM/Grid Control (13c)
Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field is a nice to have.
