Your future duties and responsibilities

The opportunity that awaits you: In a typical day you will be:

• Responsible for the proper functioning of the database, 24/7;
• Identify, apply and document data management and operations solutions;
• Monitor database performance;
• Implement changes and deploy patches and new versions of applications, as required;
• Support development teams in the application of best practices in designing data access solutions;
• Ensure reactive and proactive management of data management and operating system incidents;
• Provide solutions to data management issues and ensure database optimization;
• Perform complex data extractions to meet audit and security investigation needs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Excellent knowledge of relational databases;
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI Report Server;
• Proficiency in SQL language;
• Knowledge of data security best practices and data access solution design;
• Strong knowledge of common SQL Server database system administration operations;
• Experience in creating, designing and maintaining data storage and data analysis (BI) products;
• Solution and innovation oriented;
• Analytical mindset;
• Communication skills, good listening skills;
• Team player.

Training:

• B.A. in Computer Science, Computer Science or Mathematics or;
• Other university degree.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
• 5 years related experience.
