What We're Looking For





We're searching for a

Data Operations Specialist

who thrives in evolving, collaborative environments where they can work cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders. Our ideal candidate for this role is highly organized and brings hands-on CRM (Salesforce) experience paired with advanced spreadsheet skills and an analytical mindset. They will maintain data integrity and produce operational and financial reporting, while supporting month-end processes. Supporting the Senior Data Operations Manager, the Data Operations Specialist will provide Northern with accurate and meaningful data to support business and growth decisions.

What You'll Be Doing





Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

, with strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Prepare, maintain, and execute

weekly and monthly operational and financial reports with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Support the end-to-end project intake and setup process

, including

reviewing contracts

to ensure projects are accurately created in internal systems and delivery teams are set up for success.

Execute project close-out activities

, ensuring project data, financials, and documentation are complete and accurate. Support project teams by

reinforcing project ownership and accountability

, escalating risks or issues when delivery expectations or stakeholder accountability are unclear. Partner with Data Operations, Finance, and Project Management teams to

support month-end close activities and reporting requirements

.

Assist in building financial understanding

within the PMO, including concepts such as earned revenue, invoiced value, accrued revenue, and deferred revenue.

Generate and maintain accurate, real-time sales pipeline reports, dashboards, and data visualizations

to support business decision-making.

Support improvements to revenue operations systems and processes

by assisting with tool evaluations, data quality initiatives, and reporting enhancements. Help

maintain data integrity

for forecasting by

proactively identifying and resolving inconsistencies

in pipeline stages, close dates, and probabilities.

Develop, update, and maintain clear SOPs

and process documentation across revenue and data operations.

Support teams across the organization

with data management and documentation updates within SOPs and the Learning Management Platform.

Collaborate cross-functionally

with Legal, Finance, Revenue, and Data Operations teams to

support contract-related workflows and operational needs

. Contribute to

cross-functional projects and initiatives

aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Support the Data Operations team with

contract lifecycle activities

, helping ensure

accuracy, compliance, and timely execution

. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, able to

navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly, and manage competing priorities

.



Qualifications & Requirements





2-4 years of experience

in operations, project management, revenue operations, or a related function. Post-secondary education in

Business, Finance, Operations, Analytics

, or a related field. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with strong communication skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment, able to adapt and manage priorities.

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills

, including pivot tables and data analysis. Experience with

Salesforce (Sales Cloud)

data management, reporting, and basic troubleshooting. Basic understanding of

month-end financial processes, invoicing, and revenue tracking

.

Strong analytical skills

with attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity. Experience

producing reports, dashboards, and process documentation

(SOPs/Learning Management). Collaborative and organized, with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple tasks.



Compensation





This role has a target salary range of $56,000 - $75,000 CAD with final compensation determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills and experience, depth of role-related expertise, years of directly applicable experience, internal equity, and market alignment for the role. Compensation decisions also consider the scope and complexity of the position and are made in a manner consistent with our pay practices. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, which may include health & dental benefits, RRSP matching, Profit Sharing, , and many additional perks.
