The position at a glance The candidate will report to the Data Governance / Technology Innovation / Automation Team manager, and partner with colleagues on a range of data governance and technology automation initiatives in support of the Americas Compliance. He/she will be part of a pool of resources who may work together or individually on simultaneous high-risk, high priority initiatives. Main responsibilities will include SharePoint development and support across Americas Compliance.
In detail SharePoint Development / Technology Automation
  • Design, develop, and implement custom SharePoint solutions for the Americas Compliance domain.
  • Administer / manage the Americas Compliance department SharePoint platform.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements and capable of transitioning existing business processes into tactical SharePoint solutions.
  • Analyze system capabilities to recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate development, user acceptance testing and production delivery of solutions.
  • Perform end user training and create detailed functional documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that impact SharePoint performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual tasks that can be leveraged across Compliance.
  • Develop reports using technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL server, Oracle, Alteryx etc.
  • Provide day-to-day operational assistance and serve as the POC for resolving technical issues.
  • Work with Central IT SharePoint teams on key SharePoint projects.
Data Governance
  • Perform daily reviews of data quality monitoring reports and escalate issues as needed.
  • Root cause analysis, identifying patterns of issues and working with IT to remediate.
  • Investigate data completeness and quality issues related to Key Data Elements (KDEs) and collaborate with Business Analysts for tactical & strategic solutions.
  • Act as a point of contact for Compliance data issues within the Data Governance domain.
  • Prepare and analyze metrics and other related reports for senior management and for the Compliance Data Governance domain.
  • Evaluate and recommend automation of daily BAU processes



The strengths and skills that will help you succeed Mandatory skills
  • 4 to 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with SharePoint and reporting technologies.
  • Bachelor degree with a preferred emphasis in data analytics and technology automation.
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer and workflow implementation.
  • Capable of creating customized SharePoint forms and web parts with multiple data connections.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 & 2016 development, implementation, and administration.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, SQL server, Oracle, or Alteryx.
  • Good problem solving skills using logical analysis and conceptual thinking to resolve problems.
  • Good quantitative and presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, including the ability to work effectively with others at all levels across the organization.
  • Creativity in developing new ideas and approaches.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a new, changing, and fast-paced environment.
  • Time and project management skills to meet rigorous deadlines.

Preferred skills
  • Understanding of Data Governance frameworks, including data quality, data profiling, and data lineage.
  • Master degree and/or certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of system analysis and data tracing of issues to root cause.
