We are looking for a Data Extraction Lead for an upcoming product to join our growing Data Extraction team! Reporting directly to the CFT Data Manager, you will lead the Data Extraction projects on a cross-functional team (CFT). You will serve as a subject matter expert in a Life Science discipline and serve as product owners (PO) of the scientific content for the development teams with an aim to maximize the value of the data we extract from our sources, both in coverage (new data types, sources) and quality.

You Will:

• Represent the Data Extraction Squad leadership
• Be the lead for communicating the scientific/technical product requirements for data
• Lead the exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities
• Lead the science strategy for technology development
• Have a deep understanding of the functionality of our technology
• Be accountable for all data requirements and ensure they are met for each delivery
• Be responsible for managing and growing your Data Extraction support team

You Have:

• Ph.D. or Master's with 3+ years of wet lab experience.
• Experience working clinical or pre-clinical data.
• Understand criteria for experimental success and failure.
• Working experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics databases.
• Demonstrated project leadership and management abilities through project scoping, resource allocation, and prioritization to meet all requirements and delivery timelines
• Demonstrated people leadership and management skills including team member training opportunities
• Demonstrated effective communication with diverse stakeholders cross-functionally
• Experience in the use of SQL to access, extract, and assess data from databases
• Experience in leveraging ML solutions to automate data extraction and developing new ways to apply our ML technology to design experiments
• Strong ability to facilitate and lead the development of new strategic approaches to data challenges
• Proven ability to identify opportunities for data improvement, and getting buy-in for project execution
