We are a well-established Medical Billing Service Bureau known for accuracy, reliability, and excellent client service. Our small but efficient team supports a wide range of healthcare providers, and we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join us in a part-time junior administrative/data entry role. You'll be trained on all job specific tasks, what we value most is your willingness to learn, your accuracy, and your attitude.
Position Overview
This position is ideal for someone looking for long-term part-time work with a focus on accurate data entry and administrative support. All work will be performed in our Langley-based home office. Training will be provided on site. This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Accurate data entry of client and billing information
Preparing and submitting claim forms to insurance companies
Printing, scanning, and organizing digital files
Reformatting Excel spreadsheets
Preparing outgoing client mail
Recording demographic and claim info in internal systems
Posting payments and generating bi-monthly client reports
Supporting general office admin tasks as needed
Qualifications Required:
At least 2 years of office, administrative, or data entry experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Familiarity with Adobe PDF Editor and Google Drive
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Able to type a minimum of 50 WPM (typing test will be required)
Comfortable with numerical entry and using a full keyboard
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Must not be employed full-time elsewhere
Preferred:
Experience in bookkeeping or financial data entry
Familiarity with medical, legal, or insurance-related data
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and adapt to new systems quickly
Previous experience in a small office or support team environment
Additional Requirements:
A typing test (alpha and numeric) will be required before the in-person interview
References will be requested and checked
A one-day paid trial (in-office) will be part of the final hiring process
