Job Description

Your Opportunity:
Join us in establishing the Stollery Centre for Excellence in Virtual Health, a dynamic initiative leading innovation and integration of safe, appropriate, and patient-centered virtual care across the pediatric patient journey - both locally and within rural, remote, and Indigenous communities throughout Alberta. As a Data & Evaluation Consultant, you will directly support groundbreaking projects shaping the future of pediatric virtual healthcare. Embedded within two innovative, multidisciplinary teams, you will leverage Alberta's exceptional healthcare data assets. Your analyses will clarify and quantify how virtual health initiatives enhance patient access, experiences, and outcomes. Through thoughtful data collection, analytics, and compelling storytelling, you will produce actionable insights directly influencing clinical workflows, operational strategies, and health policies. If you are seeking a career-accelerating role alongside teams at the forefront of analytics and AI/ML deployment at AHS - if you want your contributions to visibly advance pediatric healthcare innovation - this role offers high-impact, high-visibility opportunities.
Description:
As the Data & Evaluation Consultant, you will play a key role supporting research, evaluation, and analytics initiatives at SCEVH. You will translate clinical and operational questions into practical evaluation plans, mixed-method studies, and analytics solutions. Responsibilities include designing effective data collection strategies, managing primary data collection processes, and extracting and integrating diverse datasets (primarily via Snowflake). Applying both quantitative and qualitative methods, you will build dashboards and interactive visualizations in Tableau, clearly communicating findings to clinical leaders, operational teams, and senior decision-makers. Collaborating closely with clinical, operational, and community stakeholders, you will implement evaluation frameworks, deliver timely analyses, and actively support knowledge translation activities. Your proactive mindset, collaborative approach, and passion for continuous learning will position you to significantly contribute to -and grow alongside- teams shaping pediatric healthcare innovation in Alberta.
