Data & Analytics Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Governance & PrivacyAre you excited about leading and managing high-performance teams across data and analytics?As the manager, data & analytics (focus \xe2\x80\x93 governance and privacy), you will lead multiple data disciplines with a keen emphasis on data governance and privacy. Your leadership will be instrumental in the development and execution of strategies that prioritize the management, protection, and ethical use of data assets.We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.Join our diverse and future-forward team as a data & analytics manager!What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Direct and indirectly lead and mentor a diverse team consisting potentially of leaders, analysts, and engineers.
  • Lead the creation and execution of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance strategy, focusing on business outcomes and technology alignment.
  • In close partnership with the legal team, navigate Canadian and international data protection laws, including Law 25, PIPEDA, and CASL.
  • Facilitate data governance meetings and provide training to staff on data handling best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between various technology and business stakeholders to support data analytics and strategy development.
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data analytics, data architecture, or business intelligence, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Experience in developing and implementing data strategies and analytics solutions in a large-scale business environment.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian data protection legislations and demonstrated implementation of data compliance measures in and enterprise organization.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, or a similar role.
