This opportunity is a for a 12 month term beginning February 2026.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear technical specifications Document functional and technical requirements comprehensively Assess source data for accuracy and relevance Develop optimized data models, establish relationships, and implement advanced analytics using DAX Create visually engaging, interactive Power BI reports and dashboards following best practices for data visualization and user experience Ensure scalability and alignment with business objectives Monitor data refresh and performance, resolving issues promptly Update and enhance reports to meet evolving requirements while maintaining compliance with governance and security standards Partner with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business users to create high-quality solutions Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences and contribute to process improvements Manage tasks independently while thriving in a collaborative environment Demonstrate flexibility and provide support to team members when needed

Skills and Experience

3+ years of experience in Power BI development Proficiency in Power BI with a strong knowledge of DAX Experience creating and interpreting SQL Experience gathering and documenting requirements Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions Written and verbal English language skills, with French considered an asset Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure Services is an asset Experience in the accounting and professional services industry is an asset
