The Opportunity:

The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's strategic planning/decision-making and quality/performance improvement through the development of data modelling, reporting and analytics. This role requires the design and implementation of systems and procedures for collecting and reporting information used for child and family services departmental planning and decision-making.

Collaborates with Child and Family Services on developing required indicators and metrics as well as setting of targets for the development of ongoing scorecards, dashboards and performance reports. Identifies, develops and implements analytical tools and tracking systems to support consistent and effective measurement of outcomes, impacts, and quality measures. Gathers, reviews, interprets and analyzes a variety of clinical, program and evaluation data to assist CSFS in monitoring performance, planning and forecasting future service needs. Develops, maintains and enhances performance indicators, including the establishment of culturally appropriate indicator definitions/standards and enhancement of data quality/consistency.

What You Will Bring to The Role:



Master's Degree in Social Work, Public/Law Administration, First Nations Studies, or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience working in an analytical capacity, including experience developing and tracking indicators and performance-based reporting; OR Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Public/Law Administration, First Nations Studies, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience working in an analytical capacity, including experience developing and tracking indicators and performance-based reporting. Experience in research methods as asset. A combination of training, program development and evaluation experience may be considered

Wage Range:

The target hiring range for this position is $38.5876 to $49.9719 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
