Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada\'s largest heavy duty truck and trailer dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick.We are an authorized sales, service, parts & warranty dealership for premium products Freightliner, Western Star, and Manac trailers. In addition, we service most makes and models for class 6, 7 and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RV\'s.We focus on exceeding customer requirements through continuously developing our team and building technical capabilities.We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Data Analyst.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full data analysis projects, including extracting data from various sources, including SQL databases, preparing the data (data cleaning and the union/joining of various data sources), data integrity check (including the detection of outliers), feature engineering, modeling of the data, and finally visualizing and presenting insights
• Develop and implement descriptive, predictive & prescriptive models
• Partner with leaders from within the businesses to provide insights to potential business problems and opportunities
• Explore and characterize data available to business units/teams
• Clearly present data findings and insights to the business, translating technical information into understandable, non-technical language.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Business/Commerce or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of related work experience in the development of predictive/prescriptive models, design of algorithmic solutions, use of predictive tools, and relational databases.
• Experience working with Tableau or other data visualization and analytics tools like: Minitab, SPSS, Alteryx, or Power BI.
• Proven track record of innovation, ingenuity, attention to detail, ownership and willingness to seek and take on challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to enable complex data driven insights to non-technical audiences. Strong data visualization techniques and presentation skills.
