Are you excited about Data and Analytics?

As a Data Analyst on the supply chain and logistics team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with a group of analytics professionals and both technology and business stakeholders at Best Buy, focusing on last-mile delivery experience. This role is a 14 month fixed term contract.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Optimize supply chain efficiency by identifying operational improvement opportunities (valuation, opportunity analysis, simulation, scenario planning, process and quality improvement)
• Build accurate forecasts to optimize inventory planning and fulfillment operations.
• Enable users to self-monitor operational performance.
• Support data science and automation efforts to simplify data & analytics product and services.
• Develop and maintain critical data flows, ETLs, and other analytic products, consolidating data from various data sources.
• Provide analytics thought leadership in a high-profile project that make a significant business impact.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience working in data analytics with strong stakeholder management skills, including descriptive analysis, experiment design, and dashboard development.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, PowerBI, and front-end tools like Streamlit.io
• Fast and Independent learner, agile mindset on how to deliver value iteratively, and adapt quickly to change.
