We're seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused

Studio Manager

to lead our internal systems and ensure the smooth, values-driven operation of our studio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and building strong relationships--while helping a dynamic arts organization scale thoughtfully.

What You'll Be Responsible For:



Dancer & Family Experience



Act as the studio's front-facing representative for over 350 families, ensuring clear communication and an excellent client experience Manage the systems behind trial classes, enrollments, and program transitions Communicate timely updates about events, performances, and studio happenings Greet visitors warmly, respond to inquiries, and ensure all families feel seen, supported, and valued Proactively resolve issues with care and professionalism, ensuring positive outcomes for all

Studio Systems & Quality Control



Oversee the day-to-day systems that support class scheduling, facility use, and seasonal programming Lead staff scheduling and availability tracking with clarity, consistency, and respect for team balance Guide faculty and admin teams through structured communication systems and workflow processes Monitor and refine internal procedures to maintain high standards of service and program delivery Track client financial accounts, oversee store and supply systems Collaborate with leadership to plan for long-term studio growth and implement process improvements

Staff Leadership



Serve as a key point of connection between studio leadership and the faculty/admin team Support onboarding, training, and alignment of new and returning staff members Maintain a positive studio culture through thoughtful scheduling, transparent communication, and consistent expectations Lead regular check-ins to support team well-being and professional development Create systems that promote accountability, collaboration, and follow-through across departments

Qualifications



High School Diploma (required) Minimum 3 years of experience in administration, office management, or team leadership (required) Experience with staff scheduling and oversight (required) Business management or arts administration experience (preferred) Familiarity with dance or performing arts (an asset, not required) Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva; willingness to learn Jackrabbit, Asana, and additional systems Fluency in English; Mandarin considered an asset
