We're currently looking for a passionate and versatile

full-time Dance Instructor

to join our team and inspire the next generation of young performers.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be able to teach students ages 5

-18

in a variety of styles, including

Acro, Hip Hop, Tap, and Jazz

. While we prefer applicants skilled in all five, we welcome strong candidates proficient in at least

three or four of these disciplines

.

Dance Season & Schedule:

The regular dance season runs from

mid-September through the end of June

Two-week break

over the

Christmas holidays

Two-week March break

, with the expectation to run a

1-week dance camp

during this time

Summer responsibilities (July & August)

include: Teaching

1-week dance camps

(one per month) Coaching

solos, duos, and small groups

in preparation for the upcoming season

Key Responsibilities:

Teach weekly group dance classes for ages 4-18 Choreograph pieces for performances, recitals, and competitions Create a supportive and technically focused classroom environment Collaborate with a professional, motivated teaching team Mentor and inspire dancers to grow as artists and individuals Contribute to summer camps and seasonal programming

Qualifications:

2-3+ years of teaching experience Proficient in

at least three or four

of the following: Acro, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary Strong technical background and understanding of age-appropriate progressions Energetic, professional, and a team player Comfortable teaching a variety of skill levels Evening and some weekend availability Certification in Acrobatic Arts, ADAPT, CDTA, or similar (asset, not required)
