Job Description

S.A.J. Dance Inc. dba Arthur Murray Dance Studio is looking to start a training class to eventually hire a full time, permanent Dance Instructor for our studios.

Work locations/ address: Arthur Murray Dance Studio Vancouver (200-505 Hamilton St., Vancouver,)

Duties

:

Teaching smooth and/or rhythm- dance style includes social, performance and competition dancing Develop, sell and teach dance programs Create a fun, social supportive atmosphere for the students in the studio Participate in and perform in dance skits, Pro AM events, competitions and professional dance shows

Skills requirement:



We train from the ground up, but dance experience is a bonus A desire to create a long term profession in dance. Completed Secondary school Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (language of work) Should be available during competitions/performance, which may take place on the weekend or in the evening

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
