We are seeking a passionate and engaging Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for dance and education, with the ability to inspire students of various ages and skill levels. This role involves teaching dance techniques, fostering creativity, and creating a positive learning environment. Prior experience working with children and classroom settings is highly valued, along with a background in early childhood education or tutoring.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to students' ages and skill levels Create a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve Plan and organize dance classes, performances, or recitals as needed Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines during all activities Collaborate with parents, staff, and other instructors to ensure a cohesive educational experience Incorporate creative teaching methods to make lessons enjoyable and educationally effective

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, especially in dance or related arts Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children effectively Experience working with children of various ages, particularly in early childhood education settings Excellent communication skills to connect with students, parents, and team members Creativity in lesson planning and ability to adapt teaching styles to different learning needs Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate students of all backgrounds Additional skills such as cooking or other extracurricular activities are considered a plus but are not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
