Dairy Herdsperson position with house and all utilities included, on a modern 100 cow tie stall dairy near Ingersoll. Hours are 7am to 6pm weekdays, 4am to 3pm(with late morning break) every other weekend off. Duties required are milkings,bedding, grooming stalls, scraping aisles, pressure washing some skid steer operating. Calf feeding and calf care(bottle and pail feeding and cleaning,bedding)must be maintained with a high level of hygiene. Successful candidates must have dairy farm experience, be calm with cattle and able to work unsupervised while keeping the milk house and equipment clean.
Salary is $2800.00 per month with an on farm manufactured home on 1 acre included, all utilities (heat, hydro, wifi), appliances, a/c, garbage disposal, snow removal and 2 weeks vacation after 1 year and 3 weeks after 5 also included.
