Tasks

Handling animals Monitor the calving process Monitoring animal health Perform livestock feeding Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly Feed and tend animals Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Maintain livestock performance records Maintain quality control and production records Milk cows Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry Perform general farm duties Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
