About the role
We are seeking an experienced D365 SCM & WMS Consultant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Warehouse Management System (WMS), with a proven track record of successful implementations

Essential Functions
Lead the end-to-end implementation of D365 SCM and WMS, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for supply chain, warehouse, logistics, inventory, and procurement processes
Configure and customize D365 Supply Chain & WMS to optimize inventory management, warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, and order fulfillment
Design and implement warehouse automation solutions, including mobile device integrations, barcode scanning, and IoT-enabled logistics
Work closely with technical teams to develop integrations with third-party logistics providers (3PL), transportation management systems (TMS), and external applications
Define and execute data migration strategies, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems to D365
Provide user training, workshops, and post-implementation support to enhance system adoption and operational efficiency
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project delivery and business continuity
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending best practices for supply chain optimization and warehouse efficiency
Stay up to date with Microsoft updates, feature releases, and industry trends, ensuring continuous improvement in solutions
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Dynamics AX/D365 SCM & WMS implementations, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in supply chain, production and warehouse management
Strong knowledge of inventory planning, demand forecasting, procurement, and logistics workflows
Experience in warehouse automation, including RFID, barcode scanning, handheld devices, and pick-pack-ship operations
Deep understanding of integration strategies with third-party logistics providers (3PL), transportation management, and e-commerce platforms
Expertise in data migration, system configuration, and process optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert certification preferred
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Experience in retail, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics industries is a plus
