Job Description

ALCO Energy Solutions, fabricates, and assembles oil and gas processing equipment for the domestic and global market. Alco is seeking CWB Structural Welders to work within our production facility.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Reporting to the department foreman, the successful candidate's duties include, but are not limited to: The ability to use tools and equipment safely, while abiding by the health and safety rules Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and helping others maintain their work area Working at heights is required, training will be provided Reading and fabricating structural steel (skids, ladders & platforms, tanks, etc.) based on IFC drawings Work in a team setting or independently Ability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders

Preferred Skills:

In this role, the successful candidates will have:

3+ years of experience in structural steel welding and fabrication Journeyman certification is an asset CWB All Position Fluxcore/Metal Core is required Must have strong structural steel fitting skills Experience welding with the MCAW process Shall have SMAW and MCAW CWB tickets or able to test for them Safety conscious work ethic Ability to work well with others, and change tasks quickly and efficiently To use of tools & equipment safely, and abide by the health and safety rules To perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions

Working Conditions:

You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present Longer than 10.0 hour work days may be required with short notice, must be available to work weekends when needed Outside/inside work Physically demanding position
