What You'll Do
Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations and refining processes to improve efficiency
Guide and mentor staff to ensure operational goals are met, fostering a team-driven approach to problem-solving
Monitor daily and weekly reports, helping allocate resources to meet workload demands
Provide random quality control checks on invoices, and ensure the accuracy of Senior Customs Analysts and Customs Analysts entries for tariffs and customs documents
Serve as a liaison between departments such as IT, Accounting, and Consulting to streamline communication and operations
Represent Cole International at broker and customs meetings, ensuring a consistent and professional presence in the industry
Approve high-value shipments and other critical customs processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Handle client and customs issues with professionalism, acting as a point of contact for resolutions
What You'll Bring
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Customs Analyst or equivalent in customs brokerage
Industry-related certifications (CCS, CTCS, or equivalent professional status)
A strong understanding of customs brokerage processes, with a keen eye for problem-solving and analysis
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach to managing a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software
High level of integrity and confidentiality, with well-developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Bilingual abilities (French/English) preferred but not required
Willingness to travel and occasionally work overtime as needed
