What You'll Do
Organize and lead all branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and customs regulations
Manage and develop branch staff through hiring, training, and performance management
Monitor branch performance, take corrective action as necessary, and drive towards revenue goals
Oversee customs entries, duty payments, and ensure the timely clearance of inbound cargo
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client calls and emails and addressing concerns
Audit entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements
Support business development efforts and participate in client visits as needed
Keep the team informed of regulatory changes and ensure appropriate training is provided
Conduct regular staff meetings to maintain communication and alignment within the branch
Provide after-hours assistance to staff and clients as required

What You'll Bring
A valid Customs Brokerage License
A high school diploma or equivalent
5-10 years of customs brokerage experience
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software
The ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities
