We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Customs Broker Agent - Compliance Administration
to join our dynamic team in Winnipeg, MB. In this in-office position, you will work directly under the guidance of the Compliance Manager to support a wide range of compliance-related functions critical to our customs brokerage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain all compliance-related records and filing systems
Process B2 adjustments, CERS submissions, and applicable permits within required timelines
Assist in preparing for and responding to routine audits and regulatory reviews
Type and transcribe correspondence and documentation as directed
Maintain compliance review files, including follow-ups required by regulatory bodies
Perform routine compliance-related documentation and reporting tasks
Provide backup reception coverage as requested
Participate in special compliance projects (e.g., Free Trade Agreement verifications)
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a customs brokerage role
is required
Strong knowledge of customs adjustment procedures and compliance regulations
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficient and comfortable working with various computer systems and software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
