Custom/Production Maker Updated: August 9/2022 Department: Production/Customs Reports To: Team Leader & General Manager Location: London, Ontario Position Summary: The Custom/Production Maker participates in building/assembling custom job elements that have been reviewed and assigned to them by the Team Leader. The position will ensure the highest quality of manufactured product to maintain the level of customer satisfaction that Cardinal Fine Cabinetry (CFC) clients have come to expect. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that a safe and productive work environment is maintained in co-operation with the team members around them and to act within safety guidelines of CFC
  • Work on all assigned custom/production projects in a timely fashion that coincides with the company’s delivery schedules
  • Maintain a positive work ethic and attitude that supports collaboration of ideas and skills within the team
  • Assume an active role to monitor and repair department machinery and maintenance schedules
  • Inspect product for quality control assurances and report any and all defects in material and machining practices to your Team Leader
  • Understand and follow all CFC policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Possess the ability to work in an industrial manufacturing facility
  • Excellent communication skills that respect everyone around them
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Be able to singularly lift up to approximately 23 kg (50 lbs) safely
  • Be able to work independently and with other team members
  • Be able to build professional relationships with others around them
  • Have proven professional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate planning, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Possess proficiency with both imperial and metric measurements
