About the job

Our Education team in Canada is looking for a Customer Training Advisor (CTA) where you will be responsible for direct sales of training products and services to prospective and current accounts. Our team sells and ensures the successful delivery of SAS Training across Canada and this role will be focused on customers in the province of Quebec and the Federal Government of Canada based in either Montreal or Ottawa.

As a Customer Training Advisor, you will:

  • Sell training products and solutions to current and prospective customers; works with other education personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory.
  • Work closely with new and existing customers, Software Sales Account Executives, Customer Success managers and /or Consulting to determine customer training needs and advise on appropriate solutions.
  • Implement all aspects of territory and account management and development; Identify opportunities with high \xe2\x80\x9cclose\xe2\x80\x9d potential, qualifies and forecasts timeframes to close business. Manage your territory, opportunities and forecasting using SAS\xe2\x80\x99s global sales system.
  • Proactively crafts and proposes solutions that clarify how SAS training offerings can bring business value and address each customer\xe2\x80\x99s critical business challenges. Assists customers in assessing their Talent Development needs.
  • Work closely with training colleagues to facilitate timely response to qualified, high revenue and high customer satisfaction potential leads.
  • Facilitate on-site training engagements from qualifying and logistics to supervising delivery and follow up.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the sales, marketing, or technical support of computer software solutions (including related training products and services), computer hardware, or telecommunications software/hardware. Specific industry related experience may be considered in combination with the above requirements.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related
  • Fully Bilingual in English and French.
  • Government of Canada security clearance is preferred, must be willing and able to obtain this clearance. This will be a requirement.
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of some of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAS and/or SAS Training Services
  • 3 or more years preparing sales proposals, pricing and responses to RFP\xe2\x80\x99s
