Job Description


Title Customer Support Representative Reports to CFO Role The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude while supporting the sales team in attaining their objectives, providing focused and productive communication with all internal and external customers, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction. As a member of the sales team, you will be required to truly embody and represent our culture and values by providing an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities The Customer Support Representative will be responsible for handling a project at the post-release level. This includes communication between internal and external teams and, assisting customers with daily inquiries regarding, but not limited to, shipping, lead times, product support, RMAs, etc.

  • Provide high level of customer service, ensuring positive and professional representation of the company
  • Respond to customer inquires in a timely manner; escalating when and as required
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure timely deliveries
  • Understand design philosophy, structure, and organization of the Company
  • Process and follow up on RMA\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Resolve customer complaints and establish corrective action plan; escalate when required
  • Maintain all records and files as per standard work procedures
  • Perform filing and clerical duties, as required
  • Assist in communication with Manufacturer Representatives, distributors, General Contractors, and Electrical Contractors when required
  • Assist the Inside Sales Project Coordinators, when required
  • Assist the Shipping and Customer Service Representative, when required
  • Back-up for reception when required
  • Wear proper safety equipment and follow safe working practices
  • Work is performed in a combination of environments
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education (preferred) or work equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience working in a customer facing role
  • Customer service oriented; Excellent written & verbal communications
  • Demonstrated project coordination skills; well organized, attentive to details
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales & service issues
  • Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
  • Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
  • Ability to lift or move up to 25lbs when requested
  • Overtime as required
