As Customer Support Engineer for Controlled Environment Agriculture at Ridder North America, candidates will be required to, among other duties, provide customers technical advice and advanced training on Ridder products, trouble shoot hardware and software problems remotely or at customer sites and develop and implement resolutions to same. This position entails a 40 hour work week. Must be willing to travel 20-30% of the time. Skills requirements for this position include: -Education: College degree required, preferably in agriculture or horticulture. -Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in process automation or measurement, climate control technology, electrotechnology, water management, treatment and irrigation and automated stock records in agricultural or horticultural application. Minimum of 2 years\' work experience for commercial vegetable, fruit and/or plant grower in areas of greenhouse operations and automated controls over irrigation, climate/environment and energy use.
