Customer Solutions Developer

Montreal, Quebec

office.


The Crew & NO Implementation department is responsible for the configuration, delivery and support of our Crew and Ops management products to commercial airline customers and to make sure that we deliver solutions that our customers truly need. Position Responsibilities:



Work directly with clients to understand their needs and business objectives, capturing requirements to deliver tailored solutions. Deliver client projects by configuring and customizing our world-leading crew planning software using our proprietary rule-based Rave modeling language and Python. Engage in customer relationship management, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. Train and guide clients on product usage, ensuring they maximize the value of our solutions. Collaborate and interact with the team to adjust Ways of Working to improve efficiency and customer collaboration. Use a test-driven development methodology to ensure top quality, developing automated test cases as you code. Explain design decisions and technical solutions in a clear and confident way to clients, while managing client expectations and building long-term client relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems. Foster a culture of curiosity and knowledge sharing within the team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):



+5 years' experience with software development and programming +2 years' experience with Python +2 years' experience effectively working in a Linux/Unix environment Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English Must be legally able to work in Canada Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data Experience in a role that required critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and research abilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):



Experience with airline operation or airline IT, ideally with Crew Scheduling. Ability to travel 20% of the time Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and intellectual growth. Git and GitLab/GitHub, or equivalent Experience avec AWS Experience with AI driven development Experience working within a Scrum team or in similar Agile project setup. Experience with: Relational Database modelling Data science and analytics Experience/Understanding of Webservices protocols such as SOAP and REST. Operations Research or Optimization Test Driven Development, using tools such as Gherkin and Behave Enterprise Integration & data interfaces Docker CI/CD Bash scripting VS Code

Le service Crew & NO Implementation est responsable de la configuration, de la livraison et du soutien de nos produits de gestion des equipages et des operations aux compagnies aeriennes clientes et s'assure que nous fournissons des solutions dont nos clients ont reellement besoin. Responsabilites du poste :



Travailler directement avec les clients pour comprendre leurs besoins et leurs objectifs commerciaux, en recueillant les exigences afin de fournir des solutions adaptees. Executer les projets des clients en configurant et en personnalisant notre logiciel de planification d'equipages de classe mondiale a l'aide de notre langage exclusif de modelisation Rave base sur des regles et de Python. Collaborer et interagir avec l'equipe pour ajuster les methodes de travail afin d'ameliorer l'efficacite et la collaboration avec les clients. Participer a la gestion des relations clients, afin de garantir leur satisfaction et favoriser des partenariats a long terme. Former et guider les clients pour qu'ils maitrisent pleinement nos produits et en retirent un maximum de valeur. Utiliser une methodologie de developpement pilotee par les tests pour garantir une qualite optimale, en developpant des cas de test automatises au fur et a mesure que vous codez. Expliquer aux clients les decisions en matiere de conception et les solutions techniques de maniere claire et assuree, tout en gerant leurs attentes et en etablissant des relations a long terme avec eux. Collaborer avec des equipes interfonctionnelles pour identifier et resoudre des problemes complexes. Favoriser une culture de curiosite et de partage des connaissances au sein de l'equipe.
