We are embarking on an outstanding journey to develop a new 5G Radio Access Network solution using the latest in Cloud Native technology and principles.

As a Technical Coordinator in Reference and Deployment Configurations you will be the technical professional responsible for understanding the configuration and deployment of Cloud RAN solutions in support of the team goals. The successful candidate will be forward looking, proactively identifying gaps, and recommending solutions both in early phase and in the deployed solutions. You will cultivate a creative and learning culture to always improve and innovate.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing input/direction on Cloud RAN solution configuration (HW/SW) including tie in to ERS (Ericsson Radio System)
  • Proactively identifying and providing solutions to gaps found in configurations and deployment solutions (from early phase to deployment) both as Cloud RAN and Hybrid RAN scenarios
  • Providing input/feedback on Cloud RAN solution documentation - reference configuration, dimensioning, solution deployment guidelines, etc.
  • Providing technical support to Cloud RAN customer facing teams in their daily work
  • Reviewing and providing support to Cloud RAN Trials and PoCs, including scope
  • Connecting with the development projects, programs and release through different TCs (Technical Coordinators), Developers, Program Leaders and SPMs (Strategic Program Managers) and providing a customer perspective on the solutions
  • Linking teams both inside and outside the Cloud RAN Engineering Unit to achieve team goals and improvements
To be successful in the role, you must have:
  • Bachelor's or master's level degree in a related field
  • 5+ years' experience driving/delivering e2e solutions
  • 5+ years' experience in Customer Unit / Customer Engagement role(s)
  • Deep knowledge in either RAN or Cloud deployment and solutions with the ideal candidate having both.
  • Result oriented, inquisitive active/quick learner able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • An ability to build partnerships across organizations to work out complex issues/problems
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and possess a can-do attitude
