We are an Industrial Distributor that has been family owned and operated for over 60 years! We are in search of an outgoing customer service/inside sales person who can help us provide the SB experience by helping our customers get the products and services they need when they need them. In our industry, most of our customers 'needed it yesterday' and are looking for service with speed, urgency and accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
Handling customer requests via phone, email, and in person at our walk-in counter
Sourcing products, quoting customers, entering orders
Quote & order follow-up activities
Some strategic outbound sales call initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
Computer skills - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)systems, Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, excel and word .
Full understanding of true customer service and a desire to provide that level of service.
Takes initiative to learn new things and uses online tools to help expand their knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starting & self-managing
Time management and organizational skills a must
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism
Knowledge of industrial supplies and equipment an asset
Listening, patience, attention to detail, problem solving, and adaptability are requirements for success in the position
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $46,000.00 per year
