About the Role Are you an experienced Customer Service Representative wanting to pursue your career in a collaborative yet busy environment? Most importantly, do you thrive on meeting customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations? In this role, you will be responsible for providing front line customer service, coordinating the distribution of Sulfuric Acid and Fluorspar from our Plants (Canada) and Terminals (USA). Effectively communicating relevant information to Customers, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and Technical departments. On a daily basis, you can expect to:
  • Do the processing of Sulphuric Acid and Fluorspar executive contracts ensuring the system is updated with all valid details;
  • Order management including the coordination and scheduling by rail, truck, vessel and barge;
  • Monitor customer\xe2\x80\x99s inventory, ensuring reliable supply of acid in transit and on site;
  • Review and process additional charges related to customer shipments;
  • Process customer invoices and collect payment;
  • Direct communications with traders, sales, logistics, supply chain and technical teams to ensure the accurate supply to customer and execution of customer contracts;
  • Manage customer orders to ensure they are processed in the system throughout the month and at month end and that all customer invoices are processed in a timely manner;
  • Provide support after hours on call 24/7 including statutory holidays in turn with other Customer Service Representatives;
  • Provide back up support to other traffic team members during vacations and travels.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Post-secondary degree (Business, Commerce, Logistics) or the equivalent;
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service and/or logistics, preferably in commodity handling;
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) \xe2\x80\x93 French is an asset;
  • Great organizational skills, strong attention to detail and a positive attitude;
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment with regular interruptions;
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve high standards of customer service.
