We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our team in Nisku. Servicing clients across Alberta, Frozen Solid provides temperature-controlled distribution and warehousing of fresh, frozen and dry products from our Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge locations. Our team ensures each customer receives high-quality, reliable, timely deliveries and superior customer service.

ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ROLE:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager in Calgary, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing ongoing exceptional customer service support to a portfolio of foodservice operations and maximizing profitability.

POSITION KEY INFORMATION:

Job status: Permanent - Full-time

Work days: Monday to Friday

Start time: 8 a.m.

Finish time: 4: p.m.

Location: #2, 1130 - 34 Ave, Nisku, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all incoming and outgoing buying and selling requests. Report on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services. Collaborate with customers and team members to find solutions and prevent future problems. Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve freight delivery issues, including delays, damaged goods, and discrepancies in shipment quantities or qualities. Proactively share best practices, solutions and insights across team to deliver results. Support administration in completing general tasks as instructed by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 (two) years of Food Distribution experience. Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in a role with customer service. Basic Computer skills with Microsoft office applications required. Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt deliveries and service level agreements. Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently. Critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills. Proficient in working independently with minimum supervision. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Understanding of the services provided by the Company. Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office-based work with regular visits to the warehouse operations facility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role is required to move around various facilities, including warehouse and customer locations; this may involve walking, standing, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders. Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced transportation environment. Some moderate lifting up to 50lb.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

The salary range for this position is

$21.63 - $28.61 per hour
