Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In this role, you will handle a variety of customer account activities, ensuring efficient and detail-oriented service delivery. This position involves interacting with customers, processing documentation, and maintaining a well-organized workspace.
Responsibilities:

• Manage customer account activities, including account setup, transfers, refunds, disconnections, reconnections, and troubleshooting inquiries, while adhering to company policies.
• Verify and complete documentation for overdue accounts to facilitate collections through third-party agencies.
• Review, adjust, and document customer accounts, assisting in the collection of electricity payments.
• Process service orders and work tickets to support reconnections, disconnections, reminders, and final billing procedures.
• Organize and maintain correspondence filing systems to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of customer information.
• Ensure the customer service area is kept clean, organized, and safe for daily operations.
• Experience in customer service, particularly in high-volume or call centre environments.
• Proficiency in handling service desk tickets and managing email correspondence.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with processing customer accounts and payments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
