Position: Customer Service Representative - Humboldt, SK - Full Time

The role of the Customer Service Representative is to help customers understand the products and services being offered by the company. They also answer inquiries by phone or email, and handle or direct concerns, complaints, or other issues or opportunities to the appropriate department. Helping to ensure customer satisfaction is the task-to-task responsibility the Customer Service Representative should take pride in in this important role.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Receiving and processing orders
  • Product and service knowledge
  • Invoicing and establishing best practice of shipment of feed orders
  • Scheduling freight logistics and accurately preparing documentation and reports according to regulations and policies
  • Provide follow up to the customer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to make good judgments and quick decisions
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and pride in producing quality work
  • Previous background or working experience in the agricultural industry and/or sales environment is an asset
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Safety compliance is of utmost importance and all applicants must have a steadfast commitment to plant safety at their location
  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) training is an asset, HACCP training will be provided by the company annually
  • Have a positive, steady and upbeat approach in day-to-day tasks
