FOOD INDUSTRY COMPANY LOOKING FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
We are a busy B2B food production company currently seeking a
Customer Service Representative - Billing & Accounts Receivable
to join our growing team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is responsible for providing front-desk reception and administrative support, coordinating daily order logistics, and processing purchase orders. The ideal candidate must be able to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with employees, customers, and vendors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage front-desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phones, and handling general administrative tasks.
Coordinate daily order logistics by communicating with the production team, warehouse, and delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Process purchase orders, generated invoices, and followed up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
Acted as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and order updates, ensuring professional and efficient communication.
Maintain accurate records of customer transactions, update client information, and support the finance team in monthly AR reconciliations.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve customer issues and optimize service delivery.
Develop strong working relationships with customers and vendors to support long-term business partnerships.
Assist with end-of-month billing reports and helped identify discrepancies in accounts to ensure clean audit trails.
Administrative support:
Coordinating daily office operations, including a variety of administrative tasks as needed.
Co-ordinating courier shipments (includes packaging, labeling and follow-up on point of destination).
Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce
Post Secondary Education Preferred, Special in Bachelor of Commerce.
Prefer for work experience in mid sized food manufacturing company
Work Experience
Sales & Customer Service: 1 Year
Basic Accounting background (Billing and AR) - Minimum 1 year
Experience in mid sized food manufacturing company - Minimum 1 year
Skills and Knowledge:
Exceptional interpersonal & customer service skills and ability to work cohesively with a team.
Strong Computer Skills required. (Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Outlook calendar management)
Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to work independently.
Ability to take initiative to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Required to work some weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
