Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive, professional experience from check-in to check-out
Support the flow of the clinic by preparing rooms, assisting with procedures, and keeping schedules on track
Assist the dermatologist with patient intake, documentation, and treatment setup
Provide pre- and post-care instructions for aesthetic procedures
Ensure all clinical areas are stocked, clean, and ready for use
Respond to patient inquiries via phone or email with clarity and empathy
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
Occasionally assist with social media content or clinic promotions
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or cosmetic dermatology setting is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional customer service and a patient-first mindset
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Comfortable with computers and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Certification in Medical Assisting or equivalent experience is a plus
Office Tasks
Helps in booking appointments, faxing, putting away supplies, calling patients when late, turning on laser machines
Performing general clerical duties (e.g. fax referrals)
Ensures all patient care areas are adequately stocked with unexpired supplies and medications
Answering the phones
Helps in the management of clinic social media
Other duties as assigned
Position requires full range of body motion as well as manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Position may involve sitting, twisting, standing for prolonged periods, walking and bending forward. Employee will occasionally be asked to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Normal visual acuity and hearing are required. Employee may work irregular hours.
