Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient part time Grocery Sales person to join our team. In this role, you will assist in some small preparation of food items and ensure that all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, customer service and a commitment to maintaining high-quality kitchen operations.

Duties

Engage and serve our customers, package and receive payment for product Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in food preparation by following recipes and instructions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Participate in cleaning tasks throughout the shift including dish washing We are looking for part-time 2 - 4 days per week typically Wednesday through Saturday between 10:30am to 6:00pm

Experience

Previous experience in customer service within the food/retail industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools is an advantage Food handlers certificate is an asset Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
