In our center, kids (Ninjas) ages 5-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way -- by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back. Who are we looking for?



We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic Customer Service Rep and Admin who has a passion in kids education, loves STEM, and committed to providing a fun and safe learning environment for kids.

The Candidate is proactive in making the centre the best place for both the kids and instructors to come to, day in and day out. The Candidate is detail-oriented and dependable who is comfortable with managing the daily operations of the centre.

The Candidate is a people-person, who lives and embraces the centre culture and continuously find opportunities for improvements.

The Candidate is highly approachable, engaging, and believes in the values that Code Ninjas provides to the kids, to be able to sell the various Code Ninjas programs.

Responsibilities:



Oversee the daily start up and shut down of the centre Oversee daily check in and check out of students Ensure the centre is a fun and safe learning environment for our students Follow up on customer leads, schedule centre tours, articulate the value of Code Ninjas and sell the various programs Provide centre tours to prospective customers Positively engage with children and families in the centre Ensure that parents understand how their child is learning and progressing and address their concerns Engage and oversee a team of instructors to ensure team needs are met Uphold corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness & operational standards Ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to centre dynamics

Qualifications:



Proven work history with children ages 5 and up, and enthusiasm for working with kids. Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Reliability and Flexibility is required. Deadline- and detail-oriented - We can't miss dates or overlook customers. Familiarity with technology, Microsoft suite, social media, office equipment. Experience in business operations, sales, and team leadership. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Compensation:



From $20/hr plus bonus and an opportunity to have a positive impact on many kids' lives

Hours and Location:



Hours are centered around early afternoons/evenings on Tuesdays to Fridays and late morning to early afternoon on Saturdays. Total expected hours is about 20 hrs/week.

The Centre is located at the Summerside Business Centre:

1225 91 Street SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 1E9

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week

Work Location: In person
