Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, creative and organized candidate to become an important part of our small business. We have developed a luxurious, artisan chocolate and now need your help to expand our brand and customer following.The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media platforms/shopify and a passion for talking with people. Great opportunity to learn from hands-on experience.Option to work 1-2 days remote. Must be able to be in-office 3 days/week.Customer Service

• Answers incoming calls, emails and website inquiries, serving as initial customer contact
• Develops quotations and follows-up with customer via email and phone calls; directs more complex inquiries or problems to Management
• Schedules and conducts chocolate tasting meetings
• Input orders into Industry Software, collects deposits and final payment.
• Follow up with clients after delivery to ensure satisfaction and determine the next opportunity
• Cold calling prospective clients to generate new quotations and sales
• Contacts previous customers to keep them updated on new products and services

Digital Marketing

• Use creativity to design, update and implement marketing objectives
• Update and maintain two Shopfiy websites
• Develop social media plan for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest etc.)
• Develop content for social media by taking photos/video of production team and editing in Canva
• Assists in photo and video shoots; edits and Maintains inventory of media
• Develop and maintain email marketing campaigns using Klavyio and Shopify
• Maintain online listings

QUALIFICATIONS: 1-year experience in marketing & sales promotion Strong familiarity and preference for working on the MAC platform Intermediate knowledge in MS Word/Excel and Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, Instagram/TikTok, Experience in photography is preferred Must be comfortable talking on the phone with excellent interpersonal skills Experience working in a small business or entrepreneurial environment Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration or Marketing is an assetJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $17.00-$18.25 per hourBenefits:
