Position: Customer Marketing Strategist

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

We are looking for a Customer Marketing Strategist to ideate and generate successful marketing campaigns for dealership clients. Our successful candidate will work closely with dealership stakeholders and the internal Marketing bench.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with client accounts regularly to understand business objectives and discuss marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with dealership stakeholders and marketing team members to carry out strategies and campaigns
  • Work with databases to create and maintain audiences and customer segments
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to create and monitor a wide variety of integrated campaigns, including email, SMS, and direct mail campaigns
  • Ensure compliance of marketing campaigns with manufacturer advertising guidelines
  • Strategize messaging of campaigns to align with business goals
  • Craft compelling and personalized content that resonates with different audience segments
  • A/B test subject lines, content, and designs to optimize campaign performance
  • Track and analyze campaign performance results
  • Compile regular reports of campaign performance results
  • Use campaign performance results to inform future strategies and campaigns
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to assess and brainstorm new customer marketing opportunities
  • Be an ambassador for loyalty and customer relationship projects across the group and actively promote and assist with execution at the stores
  • Assist with executing corporate group-wide campaigns and projects, ensuring compliance and good understanding at the store level
  • Exercise dealership budget controls, and process invoices
  • Uphold company and department policies, practices, and systems
  • Provide additional coordination and marketing support as required
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management
  • This position will be required to travel to various dealerships within the Lower Mainland regularly
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of experience in a marketing role or as an advertising account executive, or equivalent, in a fast-paced industry
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or communications
  • Proven success in direct marketing, demand generation, customer relationships, and content generation
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Willingness to work potentially long hours, including weeknights
  • and weekends, during busy retail months to deliver on projects
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and ability to work with pressing deadlines
  • Experience in overall project management with a creative mind
  • Responsible individual with own vehicle and mandatory valid BC Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a clean driving record
Assets:
  • Fluency in multiple languages. Specifically; Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Punjabi
  • Passion for cars and knowledge of the automotive industry
