Job Description

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Customer Connect Coordinator supports business activities for SaskEnergy related to the acquisition and maintenance of customers, developing and implementing customer and business initiatives, as well as overseeing and analyzing Customer Connect performance data in support of customer service excellence.
Position DetailsUnion - This position is permanent full time.

Core Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition and InteractionPrepare and deliver letters of offer to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Support and assist in the implementation of long-range plans for providing natural gas services to underserved areas as well as addressing natural gas capacity concerns for existing services areas. Support and assist with innovative marketing approaches to optimize customer sign-up in project areas. Represent SaskEnergy at customer meetings and public events as required to communicate SaskEnergy service options and associated policies and processes. Act as a resource to frontline customer service, operations and customer business staff related to business policy, processes, practices, and procedures. Support building and maintaining business relationships through SaskEnergy key customer visits, reviewing their accounts, and discussing future business growth and natural gas requirements. Receive and respond to general and escalated Customer Connect requests and provide support and guidance in overseeing customer issues within the escalation process, including providing creative solutions and timely resolution. Respond and assist with processing customer connect requests if necessary. Liaise with internal departments and external agencies regarding requests for information on customer connect-related accounts.

Projects and TrainingProvide technical leadership and specialized guidance to staff on Customer Connect processes, standards, and policies, ensuring effective training and respectful instruction in sensitive situations. Coordinate and oversee daily work activities and projects, collaborating across teams to ensure efficient execution and successful completion of initiatives. Continuously assess and improve work standards, practices, and procedures to enhance performance and service delivery across Customer Connect functions.

Fiscal, Administration and PolicyParticipate in the preparation, implementation and communication of business plans and financial management practices. Utilize the Business Investment Model to determine appropriate investment levels for gasification projects and letters of offer. Provide elevated level of approval for Operations Technicians for gasification projects. Review performance against capital, project and operating budgets, analyze variances and report to Management. Provide customer information to appropriate departments for the updating of documentation and reporting data as needed. Communicate with Business and Operations staff daily. In conjunction with Management and staff, develop and document standard customer connect practices and procedures. Monitor awareness of, and oversee compliance with, Corporate standards, policies, practices, legislation and regulatory requirements, customer needs or interactions, and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.

QualificationsGrade 12 or equivalent. Diploma in Business Administration Six (6) years' experience within the last ten years, in administration, construction and operations within the oil and gas industry. Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Additional InformationTravel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required on occasion.
