We are looking for a talented Custodian to work on our afternoon shift (Monday to Friday 4pm – 12 am). This role is suitable for someone who have a passion for health and safety, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.
As a Custodian, you will be responsible for

  • Maintenance / cleaning of floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing, power scrubbing
  • General maintenance of cleaning equipment
  • Collect, sort and compact waste disposal
  • Contact of disposal firms when necessary
  • Clear entrances and site sidewalks: sweep leaves/clear snow, snow-melt application, pick up wind-blown debris
  • Support of office re-arrangements
  • Assist in setup and cleanup of meetings including rooms and set aside parking areas
  • Stock paper and soap products throughout facility
  • Clean and upkeep washrooms
We are looking for someone who
  • Has experience in commercial cleaning considered an asset but not required
  • Has knowledge of the operation of single stage snow blowers, ride-on power scrubber, floor buffing/scrubbing machines
  • Is self-motivated and can work independently and well as within a team environment
  • Team member that fully supports our Guiding Principles and naturally conducts oneself accordingly
