Seeking Professional Cleaners to join our Team!

We are seeking a new cleaning professional for a full-time job opening in Dartmouth, NS. This position will require the individual to work nights 12am-5am .

Main Duties

Disinfect high traffic areas and common touch points.

Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other surfaces and appliances as outlined in the scope of work.

Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and other areas.

Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.

Dust various surfaces such as windowsills and shelving units.

Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.

Crush and bail cardboard boxes with the use of heavy machinery.

Operate ride-on auto scrubber.

Work Environment

Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, crouching, push and pull objects, lift and move objects, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.

Requirements

1-2 years janitorial experience.

Experience operating janitorial machinery such as auto-scrubbers, buffers or other equipment would be an asset.

Experience using a heavy-duty box crusher and bailer would be an asset.

Detail oriented.

Able to work in a team-oriented environment.

Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities.

Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems.

Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to your supervisor.

Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.

Travel to / from customers business is required.

Clean criminal record is a must.

Protective Equipment

Steel Toe Boots are required for this position.

Crystal Clean Maintenance provides you with all other Personal Protective Equipment you require to complete your job safely.

Language Skills

Ability to communicate effectively in English and be able to understand and follow directions in English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour
