The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) is a charitable organization that currently owns and operates five Long Term Care and Assisted Living seniors care communities in Calgary, AB, and Okotoks, AB. We take pride in providing a safe, caring, and comfortable home environment that caters to the complex needs of our senior residents and families.

The Brenda Strafford Foundation - Heart Home Network ("HHN") serves women and children impacted by family violence through providing a safe shelter and housing complimented by comprehensive support services for all participants. The Role:

Perform daily cleaning duties according to HHN routines and maintain a cleaning record Promote a safe and healthy environment for program participants and co-workers Recognize safety issues and report them immediately Use equipment (including power equipment), supplies and chemicals according to established standards and procedures Record any damage or repairs needed promptly to Manager, Operations & Client Support Dispose of and handle hazardous materials according to WHMIS and Municipal guidelines Able to respond to emergency situations effectively and calmly

One (1) year custodial/housekeeping experience Minimum High School Diploma, Equivalent experience or education will be considered Occupational Health and Safety knowledge, is an asset Self-motivated independent worker Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Intuitive problem-solving skills
