The Stratford Country Club, a long-standing year round community sports & event facility, is looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. Our operations includes many different streams:

Golf | Curling | Indoor Golf | 53 North Restaurant | Takeout | Weddings & Special Events | Catering

We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals to be a part of our busy hospitality department. Individuals that have a professional demeanor, positive attitude and willing to learn new things

Job Summary: Curling Ambassador position is responsible for the following but

not limited to;

o Instructing our Glow & Throw curling program during LOS sessions and private bookings

o Execute and instruct our new open curling sessions

o Generate curling content for social media and marketing campaigns

o Develop an elementary school "try curling" program

o Assist with ice maintenance when required

o Plan and execute curling work shop and lesson opportunities for members and public participants (PA Day programs, March break programs and family programs)

o Develop a volunteer program for high school students.

o Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.

Position Specifications:

Experience: Qualifications; minimum 3-year experience in a curling related role. Leadership & customer service experience

Work Environment: The curling rink is a cold environment, be prepared to dress warmly when on ice service

Seasonal Position Runs: November - March. Must have full availability for lights on Stratford timeframe, weekend availability.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $17.20-$18.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
