Job Description
T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab Adventures Ltd. is 100% Indigenous owned by T\xc5\x82\xc4\xb1\xcc\xa8ch\xc7\xab Investment Corporation. The purpose of the Cultural Liasson is to organize camp tourism services and other logistics for Tlicho Adventures Ltd. Duties will be carried out safely, and you will work in conjunction with the team.
Scope
Reporting to the Director of Tourism, the Cultural Liaison ensures optimal guest experience, along with timely and efficient logistics set up and coordination for tourism activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct secure and enjoyable community tours for guests.
- Facilitate storytelling sessions with elders.
- Lead tours to diverse arts workshops within the communities.
- Guide guests in checking nets, engaging in snowshoeing, and experiencing aurora viewing.
- Efficient organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Positive customer service skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain productivity to meet continuous deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a professional standard of conduct and sound work ethics.
- Safety oriented with an ability to identify and address workplace hazards and report infractions to immediate supervisor.
- Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and client information.
- Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
