The bigger picture

We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a motivated Community Coordinator to plan and execute high-impact events, and lead marketing and promotion efforts that help to showcase Cultivator\'s founder startups within the Saskatchewan tech ecosystem and beyond for a 3 year term. If you thrive on building authentic connections, championing the success of others, and orchestrating dynamic initiatives, we want to connect with you! This position is physically located in Regina at the beautiful new Cultivator headquarters but will be serving founders and teams from across the country.

How you\xe2\x80\x99ll be spending your time

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Cultivator incubator programs, events, and initiatives, including the AGTECH ACCELERATOR program
  • Supporting and maintaining key relationships in the startup and agtech eco-system. This includes partners, operators, service providers etc. locally, nationally and internationally
  • Executing internal and external high impact community events, including START Demo Days, hosting AGTECH ACCELERATOR in person weeks, Startup Summit, 24 Hour Startup, etc.
  • In collaboration with the Community and Partners Manager, supporting and executing on partnership strategy and engagement to build a stronger eco-system of support for founders.
  • Supporting recruitment and attraction of top startups for the START and AGTECH ACCELERATOR programs
  • Tracking, analyzing, and effectively communicating metrics
  • Assisting with the execution of planning for regular events at Cultivator as well as major events across Saskatchewan and beyond
  • Cultivating a high-performance internal community environment both virtually and in-person
  • Act as an ambassador for Cultivator and AGTECH ACCELERATOR program by representing Cultivator at various external events and engagements
  • Providing administrative support to the program leadership
  • Creating a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture, fostering a warm and engaging environment that promotes collaboration, diversity, and a sense of belonging among Cultivator startups
Due to the entrepreneurial nature of this role, flexible work hours are required.

The experience and skills you bring
  • Post-Secondary education in business, technology, or related discipline
  • An eye for design and experience creating marketing content and upholding Cultivator branding
  • Lead and execute reactive and proactive content on Cultivator\xe2\x80\x99s social media accounts
  • Experience using design tools such as Canva
  • Experience leading and executing high impact community events
  • Capability of spearheading event participation, developing tradeshow booths, and crafting distinctive memorable experiences
  • Experience fostering strong collaborations with vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and delivering exceptional experiences for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in the tech industry or a high growth environment is an asset
  • Agriculture knowledge is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Strong communications and collaboration skills
  • Project management and organizational skills
Salary Range:

$60,300 - $75,370 with 9% Short Term Incentive Target
